Service To Others

Elmwood School participates in a number of Charity fundraising events during the year.  On these occasions students and staff are able to wear non uniform and dress appropriately for the occasion (paying a £1 contribution to take part), join in activities, purchase items and generally have fun!

Academic year (2024-2025) we have supported:

October - Macmillan coffee morning raised £144

November - The British Legion Poppy Appeal

Academic year (2023-2024) we have supported:

April - Shelter £535 raised by 8b big sleep out

April - MacMillan Cancer Support £411 by Leon Donaldson

November – The Trussel Trust fundraiser by Year 7 pupils raised £105.10

November – The British Legion Poppy appeal

September – Macmillan coffee morning raised £158.61

 

Academic year (2022-2023) we have supported:

July – Air Ambulance raised £113.15

December  – Women’s Aid raised £81.20

November – British Legion Poppy appeal

September – Macmillan coffee morning raised £97.63.

 

Academic year (2021-2022) we have supported:

November – British Legion Poppy Appeal

October – Young Minds raised £57.50

September – Macmillan coffee morning raised £125.79

 

Academic year (2020-2021) we have supported:

November – Children in Need.  A non uniform day raised £92.00 for this good cause.

October – Walsall Outreach with their harvest appeal collecting the goodies from staff, parents/carers and governors:
